This lesson is for foreigners who have no experience with Ikebana and want to explore the world of Ikebana. We will talk about the wabi-sabi culture and aesthetics and the differences between Ikebana and Western arrangements. Of course, we also recommended Japanese people who want to know about Ikebana and Japanese culture. Why don’t you experience the traditional culture and spirit of Ikebana by Japanese ikebana artists in a formal Japanese tatami room? You can join yourself or with friends and groups.
Aya, who has a wealth of experience overseas, warmly welcomes you in Aya's house, a quiet residential area a little away from Mountain Maya in Kobe. Available in English and Japanese.

Ikebana, like sculpture, painting, music and literature, is considered a cultural art.
Express your thoughts and feelings in a single vase made of flowers and plants. Everyone will smile after the completion. Finally, we will prepare traditional Japanese matcha tea and Japanese sweets.
